End of summer trip

After some rainy weeks in the Netherlands this summer Remi and me decided to leave for a four day paddle trip to sunny Austria. The idea was to paddle some easy rivers and do some freestyle. We stayed in Landeck for a view days and paddled some parts of the Inn and the Schuls Gorge in Switzerland. The water levels in Austria were really low but we still had good fun.

Wednesday evening we decided to check the Internet and searched for some freestyle spots near by. Lucky as we were Bremgarten was running! The next morning we packed our stuff and drove to (what I call) the best wave of Europe. The water level was perfect and in the morning it was just the two of us in the eddy. After some rebuilding that they did in Bremgarten the eddy near the wave has changed. We had to hang-up a rope to pull ourselves up in to the eddy. After paddling the whole day we were quite tired and ready to head back home.

Geweldig! Lijkt me heerlijk als je dat kunt. Leuk muziekje ook, wie is het?
